September birthdays

September started off great.  Kids were in school, we were back into a groove and Jenna's 6th birthday started fall off!  She hasn't really ever had a party, so this year she wanted a big Hello Kitty party.  We made a pinata--(because the cost of buying one about gave me a heart attack.)  Little did I know the work involved!  Here's the front:
Here's the back:
Complete with a Hello Kitty Chocolate pie for the family and decorate your own cupcakes for the party!

Gavin's birthday came a week later and we found ourselves up the Unitahs with Liz and fam--snuggled in a cozy cabin with fishing and four wheeling. A quick getaway-but very memorable!
We love us those Perle beads

Gavin got a very spendy remote control car...that now sits broken on top of our cupboard...we never learn.

This was the view from our deck.  It looked down onto the fishing ponds that were STOCKED with trout.
The colors were at their peak--it was an absolutely beautiful weekend.
